"Some of the recipes include great accompanying photographs, showing particular steps in the recipe, such as the one for Crepes with Boiled Cider Sauce."

"Because senior portraits are so meaningful and last a lifetime, you want ones you can be proud of the rest of your life.  Karen provided that for us...she captured my daughter's teenage freshness.  She created a level of comfort within my daughter which shows in her facial expressions and body behavior, taking photos that made her look and feel her best!  I would highly recommend Karen as any teenager's Senior Portrait photographer."

"The New England Orchard Cookbook - Harvesting Dishes & Desserts from the Region's Bounty" is 320 pages of brief history of 5 of the New England States, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Vermont & New Hampshire, Their beautiful area orchards and their bounty of produce. As much a travel guide , perhaps more so, as a cookbook "The New England Orchard Cookbook" allows readers to learn about the area and perhaps a few seldom used ingredients. What I liked most, besides the gorgeous pictures, was the authors use of some pre-made items that saved time and energy in the preparations of some recipes. I have used pre-made crust when short on time or need to make a large amount of pies at one time."
